School supply teacher timid folk art Ales Brabec won first prize at a music festival and will therefore offer to work for the Prague little theater in the basement. Its director Soukup just needs a few songs for the upcoming musical, and so is willing to do everything to Alex to create the right atmosphere for composing.

Face the Music was a light hearted classical music quiz. Hosted by Joseph Cooper who played excerpts from the classics on the piano and asked questions to the panel consisting of three people. Each week there was a famous musical guest who joined in the fun.

After famous lead singer Dave Smith dies in a freak accident on stage, the members of his old high school band - Ronnie, Paul, Lewis, his fianceé Amanda, and Jade - attempt to capitalize on his death to pursue their lost rock 'n' roll dreams they had in high school - by any means necessary.

Dan Stone's band may have just been dumped from their record label, but they're still young and they still feel like they've got a few hits left in them. Of course, everybody knows that nothing rockets a band to the big time better than the death of a lead singer, and when the band agrees to fake Dan's death in exchange for some well-timed publicity, the plan pays off better than they ever might have expected. The trouble is, a beautiful female reporter has been assigned to investigate the mysterious death, and now, as her reporter's instincts lead her ever closer to the truth, the "dead man" realizes that the girl of his dreams is also the girl who could destroy his career if news breaks of the band's elaborate ruse.

A world-class painter is taken ill and lies in the bedroom of an inn, while people down below squabble over his paintings and inheritance. The wily old man is unperturbed, even regarding the infernal trumpet sound which plays throughout.

England. The old and sick artist Symonds Kendle, fleeing from the insistent claims of his children to his remaining paintings and drawings, goes with his granddaughter Felicity to another city to a friend. But on the way the artist falls ill and ends up in a small station hotel. Felicity and Stan, the son of the innkeeper, search for boxes of Simon's paintings that have fallen into another station.
